Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Network
The Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and effective use of environmental media. They provide a forum for filmmakers, environmental activists, educators, government, scientists, students, business leaders, and concerned citizens to come together to discuss new issues and ideas about our culture and environment. Their mission is to bring filmmakers together with environmental activists, educators, government, scientists, business, and concerned citizens, to improve the quality and effective use of environmental media.
The 2006 Hazel Wolf Environmental Film Network festival was a four day event. During the course of the weekend, more than 50 films were screened on topics such as wildlife, forests, oceans, toxics, and sustainable communities. Over 20 nationally recognized filmmakers and producers were on hand to discuss their films and the environmental issues they addressed. Over 30 local and regional environmental groups participated in this four day event, themed "Walking the Ecological Line."
