Filmmakers for Conservation
The english nonprofit organization, Filmmakers for Conservation has launched a number of film/conservation initiatives - paying back to "the wild" through local film screenings, recognizing and encouraging significant conservation achievements by member, and providing a network and forum for conservation filmmakers to meet, exchange ideas, and collaborate on new initiatives.
FFC is the global conservation organisation for the film and television industry.

Each finalist has been given a page explaining the films they have made, the changes that they have created, their picture and a short video clip
FFC Filmmakers Evening
Meet the worlds top wildlife filmmakers as they spend an evening with you, showing their award-winning films and discussing the many issues they faced along the way. We have had events in Bristol, UK; New York and Washington. Not only are we looking at continuing these events but also expanding the number of places where films will be shown.
Research Programme
Initial work has been done to see whether wildlife films can make any difference to conservation. A number of students around the world are studying this exciting area. We can provide an online bibliography for members upon request.
FFC Wildlife Image Bank
A wonderful opportunity to advertise the footage that you have filmed. FFC provides a space for members to list the footage that they have so that other members - broadcasters/producers/directors - can search for scenes that they are looking for.
