Green Planet Films for nature and environmental films AND events

Green Planet Films is a nonprofit distributor of nature and environmental films from around the globe.

Green Planet Films hosts film nights and distribute films to other organizations, businesses, and schools to show films to their members, students, friends, or employees.

Topics such as urban sprawl, the peak oil crisis, genetically engineered food, water privatization, endangered species, and deforestation affect us all, yet many of these issues are largely under- and mis-represented by the general media.

Public awareness of these issues is growing and the desire to learn more and act grows as well. Green Planet Films' mission is to provide an affordable and accessible web-based DVD library of specialized environmental and nature films for educational institutions, organizations and public viewers who have been historically underserved by mainstream home video distributors.

Environmental media distribution can be a catalyst for awareness and change, and by offering a DVD library as a rental resource; Green Planet Films places tools for education, outreach and advocacy into the hands of the people with the power to foster change.
