My son's friends worked on the animation and special effects for the new Sony Imageworks movie, "Surf's Up"...so when I was invited to see the preview...how could I refuse?

I'm glad I did! It's a fun animation movie that's really for kids...not adult humor disguised as a children's movie. The animation is flawless. The characters are sorta human like even if they are chickens and penguins in bits and bytes.

The story is even clear enough to follow and enjoy. And the surfing is like a dance. It made my son want to go surfing again -- they made it look so easy and so much fun!
