EarthDance Film Festival - short attentsion span environmental film festival

The films EarthDance Film Festival assembled demonstrate that the Earth–fragmented as it is, hurt and hammered though it may be–is still giving and nurturing, still inspiring and inspired; if only we will engage with it.

As author Rick Bass says, “The spirit of the land rises and enters the thread of our blood and keeps trying to stitch our hearts and minds back together–back toward joy–even as we stand knee- deep in the rubble of loss.”

Capacity crowds turned out to the 2005 EarthDance Short-Attention-Span Environmental film festival at the Oakland Museum of California. In contrast to gloom and doom environmental film fests, EarthDance films emphasize the joy, beauty, humor, and hope found in the environment.

You can bring the excitement of the EarthDance Film Festival to your community. A flexible program of 90 minutes to three hours of films, custom-tailored to your venue, is now available for booking.
